It seems we’re not alone

Here was me thinking that it was only Sony Vaio users who were suffering the dead hand of Sony customer and technical service.

How wrong could I be?

Even a brief look at the two YouTube videos below will bring back bad memories and have you empathising with the pain of Sony PS3 customers.

Does anyone know how to reach out to the community of frustrated Sony PS3 users and invite them to join forces with us?

Bye for now,

Alan

One Response to It seems we’re not alone

I have been having real issues with getting any response from SONY or even getting through to speak to a customer service representative over the phone… To be honest its very dis-heartening that a company of this size has no direct support for its customers.
Its not surprising that companies like M.S. and Mac. will rule the industry soon, people will stop buying products knowing there is no direct support once you’ve bought their products. Very dissapointed with SONY at the moment.

I am the owner of a SONY VAIO laptop, SONY Digital camera, SONY Playstation 1, 2, and 3. I have been very loyal to SONY over the past years and really feel proud of owning their products and their clean, slick designs. Its just such a shame that trying to get any help from people concerning SONY product issues is unbelievably difficult! The website is very bad aswell, trying to get support information is a complete route march and I now i’ve recently formatted my VAIO i’m getting a pop up evrytime I connect to the internet asking me to re-register my laptop to get updates, when I follow the link and complete the registration page it tells me that my Laptop is not recognised (this is after I’ve put the serial number in!?). So I’ve finally got hold of a telephone number to call for “SONY VAIO support”, after calling this I get told (by an automated system) that my “VAIO is out of warranty”!?
This has been such an ordeal to try and get through to SONY, even get a solid response.
As a loyal customer I have seriously lost faith in them. Their products may look and operate well but if something does go wrong, which is more than likely, you are alone.
